Urgently carry out the site handover to implement the Cho Moi expressway

Currently, the Bac Kan City Land Fund Development Center has completed two rounds of compensation and support payments with a total cost of about 14.8 billion VND. The compensation plans for the third and fourth rounds are being assessed and are expected to be approved in April for continued payment.

In Cho Moi district, key locations in Thanh Mai, Thanh Van, Nong Ha and Thanh Thinh communes are being reviewed, verified for legality and land origin to prioritize early handover of land to contractors for construction. In particular, in Nong Ha and Thanh Thinh communes, sections that can be constructed immediately such as: Km0+300 - Km1+300 (construction of Ban Chang bridge); Km6+600 - Km7+600 (construction of Na Deo bridge and Na Ban bridge); Km8+300 - Km8+800 (Na Can bridge and large box culvert) ... are being urgently completed by the City Land Fund Development Center to hand over land to contractors.

In Nong Thuong commune, Bac Kan city, some sections have been handed over. Potential locations that can be constructed first such as Na Can bridge, Na Deo bridge, Ban Chang bridge, Km 28+119 underpass... are also being prioritized for clearance.

Project Management Board 2, Ministry of Construction has actively coordinated with localities, consultants and contractors to survey and inspect the current status of the ground along the entire route. At Km 28+100 in Nong Thuong commune, the contractor is concentrating machinery and human resources to carry out construction in qualified locations.

However, in the field along the entire route, many locations have cleared the land but there is no access road for construction; the electricity and telecommunications systems have not been relocated; some households have not agreed on the compensation plan...

To ensure the progress of the Project, the Provincial People's Committee directed Cho Moi district, Bac Kan city and related units to be more drastic in land acquisition, technical infrastructure relocation and completion of legal procedures, ensuring the timely handover of clean site to the contractor for construction./.
