Maguire, Onana shine, Man Utd win easily against Copenhagen
"It was unbelievable, it was a great night, especially in the last moments, we had to concede a penalty, which should not have happened," coach Ten Hag said at a press conference after Man Utd's 1-0 victory over Copenhagen in the third match of Group A of the Champions League, which took place in the early morning of October 25 (Vietnam time).

Ten Hag's side eventually secured their first win of the Champions League group stage thanks to a Harry Maguire header in the 72nd minute, but they almost drew 1-1 had striker Jordan Larsson not missed a penalty in stoppage time.
Man Utd conceded a penalty in the 90th minute due to Scott McTominay's high foot after Copenhagen's corner kick, but fortunately goalkeeper Andre Onana made an excellent reflex save to successfully block Larsson's penalty kick to help Man Utd win all 3 points against the away team in a dramatic way.
"That was an excellent save by Onana," coach Ten Hag praised the Cameroon goalkeeper.

"We've slowly found our form this season and Harry Maguire played a really good game and Andre Onana also made a great save just after half-time which was important.
We conceded an easy penalty when we should have had a penalty for Rashford's foul. I don't know why it wasn't a penalty.
But we achieved our goal of winning and it was a step forward from a few weeks ago when we lost our rhythm due to some obstacles from refereeing decisions.
We calmed down after a poor first half and in the second half we came forward and created more chances than them. And in the end, the win was justified, but it was a narrow escape," added the Dutch tactician.

The win over Copenhagen gives Man Utd a good mentality before entering the Manchester derby this weekend in the competition for a place in the top 4 of the Premier League.
"Everyone saw it. There was a great spirit in the dressing room, the players fought together, celebrated together and supported each other. That spirit is always necessary to be a successful team.
The Man Utd players are together and that's important because the team is not just the sum of the individuals. That's what we have to do in the Manchester derby. Always be a united team and fight together for our goals," coach Ten Hag concluded.
