Image of forced eviction of the last two households of the 700 billion VND park project in BR-VT

(NLDO) - Ba Ria Park project with a total investment of 714 billion VND, phase 1 has 122 cases of land acquisition but up to now there are still 2 households that have not agreed to hand over.

On the morning of January 9, the People's Committee of Ba Ria City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) organized the forced recovery of more than 1,000 square meters of land to implement the Ba Ria Park project. The project completed phase 1 in 2021, but there were still 2 cases that did not agree to hand over the land, so the authorities were forced to enforce.

The Ba Ria Park project in Phuoc Nguyen Ward (Ba Ria City) is divided into 2 phases with a total area of ​​45 hectares and a total investment of 714 billion VND. The project started phase 1 more than 10 years ago and will be put into operation in 2021, with a total recovered land area of ​​12.14 hectares.

The last 2 households are located on land belonging to the Ba Ria park project.

There are 122 cases affected by land acquisition for project implementation. Up to now, 120 cases have handed over the land, but 2 cases with an area of ​​1,037m2 have not agreed to hand over.

To complete the project, the People's Committee of Ba Ria City established a mobilization team and repeatedly met, dialogued, and mobilized households to comply with the handover of land. However, the two cases above did not agree and complained, requesting to enjoy benefits outside of the state's prescribed policies and review the compensation policy.

Ba Ria City People's Committee reads the enforcement decisions before implementing land enforcement according to regulations.

The People's Committee of Ba Ria City said that the locality has applied a policy to compensate more than 1.3 billion VND and grant 4 new plots of land, but households did not cooperate, requesting an increase in the residential land limit and granting 3 more resettlement plots.

The People's Committee of Ba Ria City has issued a decision to enforce land recovery for the above two cases, and at the same time established a Land Recovery Enforcement Board and developed an enforcement plan.

The houses are nestled inside Ba Ria Park.

It is known that on the afternoon of January 8, the People's Court of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province notified two cases that there was no basis to issue a decision to temporarily prevent enforcement.
