BTO - Throughout the 2023 National Tourism Year Binh Thuan - Green Convergence, La Gi town has simultaneously organized many unique and exciting cultural - artistic, tourism and sports events, creating positive effects, attracting the attention of a large number of local and foreign residents and tourists.

A series of large-scale open sports competitions were invested in by the town, such as: the town's open half-marathon, open cycling, tennis, table tennis, badminton, men's and women's volleyball tournaments...; coordinating the organization of the 13th Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Tournament in 2023 - Biwase Cup; Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Cycling Tournament - VOH Radio Cup... all of which attracted the participation and encouragement of a large number of athletes and tourists from many provinces and cities across the country. The tournaments were successfully organized, not only enriching the town's physical education and sports movement but also contributing to promoting tourism and promoting the image of La Gi town to tourists. Thereby, promoting the introduction of cultural values and unique tourism products of the locality to friends and tourists near and far. The most prominent of these was the Open Town Half Marathon, which attracted more than 1,000 athletes from 13 provinces and cities across the country, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people.

In addition, identifying cultural and religious tourism also contributes significantly, creating many cultural diversity features for local tourism. Therefore, the town has paid great attention to and focused on cultural and religious activities. During the year, La Gi town organized the Ceremony to receive the Provincial Relic Ranking Certificate "Van Tan Long Historical-Cultural Relic"; successfully organized the Dinh Thay Thim Cultural - Tourism Festival 2023 taking place from October 28 - 30, 2023 with many exciting activities, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and visit Dinh Thay Thim.

Along with the strengthening of state management of tourism; propaganda, promotion and investment promotion of tourism are carried out in many forms, urban beautification is always focused on by the locality. The town has mobilized all resources, focusing on investing in infrastructure to serve people's lives. In 2023, more than 24 traffic works were invested in upgrading, repairing, adding drainage items, trees, public lighting... were completed, also contributing significantly to promoting the image of La Gi urban area to tourists.

It can be seen that the implementation of activities in response to the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" in La Gi town has exceeded the set plan. Through cultural, sports, tourism activities, traditional festivals organized methodically and on a large scale have helped La Gi tourism gradually regain momentum for growth and development. Since the beginning of the year, the town has welcomed more than 275,000 visitors, an increase of 7.5% over the same period (of which the number of guests staying increased by 23.13%). Revenue from tourism services in 2023 is estimated at 170 billion VND, an increase of 9.76% over the previous year.
