On average, every day, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology receives 30-40 pregnant women and other obstetric and gynecological emergencies, often with difficult cases, pregnant women with infectious diseases... The work of a midwife is always busy from the stage of receiving patients, monitoring and caring throughout the labor process, participating in childbirth, caring for mothers and newborns after birth, consulting and supporting breastfeeding, guiding health monitoring and family planning... Ms. Huyen Nhung shared: "The profession of midwifery - the "midwife" of modern times, is a glorious profession, but also full of hardships and difficulties. The profession specializes in obstetrics, requiring patience, calmness and high professional qualifications of the midwife, accompanying mothers from pregnancy until seeing their children born".

“As a midwife and nurse at an on-demand medical examination and treatment unit, I have to serve twice as much. In addition to professional duties, communication skills and attitudes must be a top priority. Midwives and nurses monitor health status, provide nutritional advice, guide newborn care, and monitor surgical incisions for mothers every day.
