Social Policy Bank, An Giang province branch inspects policy credit activities in My Phuoc ward

In recent times, the management of entrusted loans from the Social Policy Bank in the ward has been well implemented. The total outstanding debt to date is over 42.3 billion VND (a decrease of 795 million VND compared to the beginning of the year), including 12 savings and loan groups, with 547 borrowers. The work of evaluating loans is conducted publicly, democratically, and to the right subjects. Every year, the local government develops a plan to inspect and supervise the achievement and exceeding of the prescribed targets. The monthly debt and interest payments and savings mobilization are well implemented by the groups. Borrowers have promoted the use of capital for economic development and used capital for the right purposes.

Concluding the inspection, Deputy Director of the Bank for Social Policies, An Giang Province Branch, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, highly appreciated the attention of the Party Committee and People's Committee of My Phuoc Ward to social policy credit activities; fully disseminated and propagated the Party and State's policies and guidelines to cadres, members and people regarding this work. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh suggested that local authorities, associations and unions continue to effectively manage policy credit capital sources in the area; further strengthen inspection and supervision of the management and use of loans, and strictly comply with the repayment of principal and interest according to regulations.
