When government and businesses cooperate in digital transformation

- Digital transformation (DX) is the key method to realize the will and aspiration for rapid and sustainable development. The Provincial People's Committee has strongly implemented the DX, with the close support of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT). After 10 years of cooperation, the two sides have coordinated to implement many tasks on developing telecommunications infrastructure, information technology, DX and achieved many results.

An Giang Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group continue to sign a cooperation agreement on digital transformation

VNPT has worked with An Giang province to build a dedicated data transmission network system, connecting to 100% of state agencies from the provincial to communal levels. The system has been deployed to all 155 communes, wards and towns, ensuring smooth and secure connections. Telecommunications infrastructure has been heavily invested with broadband fiber optic cable networks and 4G coverage reaching 100% in all communes, wards and towns. Currently, the 5G network has been covered in district centers, towns, cities and industrial parks, with plans to expand coverage to the entire province by the end of 2025. This is an important connection platform, promoting the development of digital society, digital economy and digital government.

In particular, deploying the provincial administrative procedure information system to receive and process administrative procedure records and online public services under the jurisdiction of agencies and localities. The provincial document management and administration system serves the sending and receiving of electronic documents between state agencies. The dynamic data synthesis reporting information system helps standardize the reporting regime of state administrative agencies (trial). Deploying the provincial (trial) and district-level smart monitoring and operation center system. The smart tourism system has been put into operation, helping tourists easily look up information about tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, events, etc. Deploying the management and exploitation system for the health and education sectors, such as: electronic medical records, digital transcripts, etc. Regarding tourism and agriculture, it helps create and connect centralized data of the sectors; 5G coverage in district centers, towns, cities and industrial parks... In particular, the plant pest assessment platform has helped the agricultural sector forecast pest situations to serve the work of sowing to avoid pests, planthoppers and many other applications: Electronic invoices, digital signatures, smart traffic cameras, security camera systems...

To effectively deploy digital transformation in the coming time and successfully implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, on March 26, An Giang Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group continued to sign a digital transformation cooperation agreement for the period 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee and VNPT Group will cooperate in developing digital infrastructure (digital infrastructure, digital data, digital platforms, digital resources), shared platforms, ensuring information security and safety, and cooperating in training and developing human resources in telecommunications - information technology, creating a digital transformation platform for the province. At the same time, cooperate in building digital government, deploying solutions and software to serve models under Project 06; solutions on big data platforms and AI applications on smart urban platforms; specialized databases; solutions for collecting information to build a database, thereby building a shared database system of the province, serving the province's Smart Monitoring and Operation Center; digital transformation solutions, improving the management and operation efficiency of the provincial government.

VNPT Group will accompany the Provincial People's Committee to cooperate in implementing solutions for digital economic development: Focus on solutions to promote digital transformation for enterprises; consult, support technology transfer and digital transformation implementation for enterprises; support the implementation of non-cash payment solutions, develop e-commerce towards comprehensive development of the digital economy. Cooperate in developing a digital society based on the digital citizen platform. Deploy smart healthcare solutions, smart education; digital citizens; promote awareness of digital transformation for agencies, organizations, people and enterprises; put people at the center of digital transformation; develop applications on mobile devices for people to interact with the government.
