On the afternoon of September 26, at the National Exhibition Center for Architecture and Construction Planning (Hanoi), a cooperation signing ceremony took place between the Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA) and the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA). The two associations agreed to cooperate regularly, long-term and sustainably on the basis of promoting the functions and tasks of each party according to the operating charter and legal regulations to effectively carry out the activities of the two sectors of Real Estate and Tourism. In the Vietnam Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, tourism is truly a spearhead economic sector and sustainable development, Vietnam becomes a particularly attractive destination, belonging to the group of 30 countries with the world's leading tourism competitiveness, fully meeting the requirements and goals of sustainable development. The real estate market associated with tourism and resorts will develop strongly in Vietnam in the coming time, opening up many opportunities for domestic and foreign investors interested in this field. Based on the functions, tasks and strengths of each unit, the leaders of the two sides agreed to cooperate and support each other in coordinating the organization of events, seminars, conferences, and cooperation programs to promote tourism, while promoting the development of the real estate industry in general and the tourism real estate sector in particular. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Chairman of VNREA, former Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee emphasized: "At the Party Congress, the government clearly stated that tourism development will be the top priority. However, to develop the tourism industry, investment in infrastructure is extremely necessary and it is closely related to real estate. Therefore, the cooperation between VNREA and VITA is not only an opportunity for the two sides to exchange and understand each other, but also the basis for supporting, coordinating and promoting the strengths of each unit in promoting the development of the two sectors of tourism and real estate". According to Mr. Vu The Binh - Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association, tourism is a comprehensive economic sector that has a direct impact on many other economic sectors and real estate is a typical example. Therefore, the signing of cooperation between VITA and Vietnam Real Estate Association will be a bridge to promote the stronger development of the two sectors of Tourism and Real Estate in accordance with the policies of State management agencies. According to the signed content, the cooperation period between the two parties is 5 years from September 26, 2023 to September 30, 2028. In particular, according to the cooperation content, VNREA has directed and assigned the RED Center Real Estate Development Center to coordinate the implementation of specific cooperation programs immediately after the signing ceremony. Within the framework of cooperation, from December 1-3, 2023, the Vietnam Real Estate Association will coordinate with the Vietnam Tourism Association to organize the "Eco-resort real estate exhibition" within the framework of the "VITM Can Tho International Tourism Fair 2023". The fair and exhibition will attract the participation of international organizations, 40 provinces/cities, 350 exhibitors participating in booths, 1,500 businesses attending and working at the Fair and especially attracting about 30,000 domestic and international tourists to attend.
