Two exclusive fashion collections honoring Vietnamese culture

(To Quoc) - To celebrate the 5-year milestone in Vietnam, UNIQLO Vietnam introduces 2 exclusive fashion collections honoring Vietnamese culture: the special collection UT Mickey Mouse in Vietnam and the exclusive collection UTme! Folklore Chronicle honoring Vietnamese culture.

UNIQLO has collaborated with The Walt Disney to launch a special collection for the Vietnamese market, called "Mickey Mouse in Vietnam". Inspired by traditional cuisine and costumes, the collection features patterns that recreate the image of the conical hat, the ao dai, and dishes such as banh mi and fried fish and beef balls, thereby honoring the uniqueness of Vietnamese street culture.

The UT "Mickey Mouse in Vietnam" collection includes 04 designs for Men and Women, officially available at all 26 UNIQLO retail stores in Vietnam and online stores from November 29.

In particular, on this occasion, UNIQLO also collaborated with young artist Chung Pham in the new UTme! collection with the theme "Folk Chronicles", including four unique patterns, inspired by Vietnamese folk culture. Familiar images such as to he, a pair of shoulder poles, a cyclo and water puppetry are vividly recreated in each pattern, bringing a unique, familiar yet impressive and modern cultural breath.

"As a Vietnamese, I am proud to say that Vietnam is a country with a unique folk culture that many people do not have many opportunities to access. From the perspective of a young person, and also an artist who loves using folk materials to express through the language of painting, I wish to bring these long-standing cultural features closer to more young people and international friends," shared young artist Chung Pham.

The UTme! Folklore Collection will officially be available at 4 stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, including: UNIQLO Dong Khoi, UNIQLO Saigon Centre (Ho Chi Minh City), and UNIQLO Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach, UNIQLO Hoan Kiem (Hanoi) from November 29, 2024.
