Representative of Chutex International Co., Ltd. (Duc Hoa district) - Erng Sow Ngoh proposed that relevant agencies and sectors of the province have policies and solutions to support the recruitment of labor resources in the area because recently, many workers have quit their jobs and recruitment has been difficult, thereby affecting production and business activities.
According to General Director of Ching Luh Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Ben Luc district) - Cynthia Hsieh, enterprises need the province to support, orient and have a suitable labor training strategy to meet the increasing demand in the current and upcoming period.
On the other hand, enterprises can also link and provide related training programs to meet the needs of labor and human resources; hope that all levels will pay attention, support and accompany in the implementation for the common development goal.
According to Thang Loi Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company, the unit is implementing many projects in Long An. Among them, there are projects that are carrying out procedures for calculating land use fees to determine financial obligations, specifically the Project for Construction of Technical Infrastructure for Low-Income Residential Areas in Duc Lap Thuong Commune, Duc Hoa District, which has had the Decision on land allocation phase 2 since July 2022, however, after more than 2 years, the competent authority has not yet notified the amount of land use fees to be paid.
The delay in determining the project's financial obligations has greatly affected the progress of separating the sub-books and transferring them to customers of the project, leading to complaints and lawsuits from customer groups. Therefore, the Company hopes that the Provincial People's Committee will soon direct a solution so that the Company can quickly fulfill its financial obligations according to regulations.
Join hands to overcome difficulties
With the view that the difficulties of enterprises are also the difficulties of the province, the province always listens and supports the business community to remove difficulties and obstacles.
In recent times, the province has had many mechanisms and policies to improve the investment environment and support businesses and investors. The approved plan will be publicly posted for businesses to monitor and understand. Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - Nguyen Hong Mai informed: To support and facilitate workers to look up information and find jobs, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with relevant departments, branches, agencies and units to compile statistics and update weekly on labor training needs and labor recruitment needs of enterprises in the province on the province's electronic information portal and on the Long An Digital application.
To support enterprises in labor recruitment, the Department deploys and implements solutions to continue coordinating with relevant departments and branches to synthesize and update labor training needs and labor recruitment needs of enterprises in the province every week to facilitate the search for enterprise recruitment information and vocational training and job search for employees.
The Department directed the Long An Employment Service Center to organize job fairs, widely inform about the recruitment needs of enterprises to local workers; mobilize enterprises to improve salaries, reasonable incentives such as bonuses, travel allowances, accommodation allowances and other supports, arrange shuttle buses, etc. to keep workers secure at work and spread and attract labor from neighboring provinces.
In particular, the Department focuses on implementing well the human resource training program to meet the needs of industrial and agricultural development of the province according to Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU, dated April 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee with the goal of building and developing the province's human resources, especially high-quality human resources.
In particular, the orientation of training in occupations associated with the needs of enterprises investing in high-tech fields such as energy, precision mechanics, electricity, electronics, telecommunications, automation, etc. Innovate and improve the quality of vocational training institutions in operation and deploy joint training in occupations that enterprises need high-quality human resources that provincial schools have not yet trained, especially occupations in the fields of high technology, semiconductor technology, etc.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son emphasized that, although the province has had many mechanisms and policies to improve the investment environment and support businesses, it has not been able to completely resolve all the difficulties of investors and businesses. The province is and continues to promote the synchronous implementation of plans and action programs for socio-economic development, solutions to improve the investment environment in a drastic and unified manner on all contents, with focus and key points.
At the same time, the province also hopes to continue receiving initiatives and suggestions from the business community that are suitable to the practical situation of the province at each stage, continuing to remove difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can invest effectively and develop sustainably together with Long An.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to continue reviewing, monitoring, and urging the resolution of recommendations and proposals from enterprises related to many sectors and levels.
