Yen Bai ranked 9th out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of PAR INDEX in 2024.
On April 6, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the regular Government meeting for March 2025. The meeting was held directly at the Government Headquarters and online at the People's Committee Headquarters of provinces and centrally run cities. At the meeting, the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the results and rankings of the People's Satisfaction Index for the services of state administrative agencies in 2024 and the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR) in 2024 of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities.
According to the announced results, in 2024, Yen Bai's PAR INDEX ranked 9th with 90.54% (up 1 rank compared to 2023), the SIPAS index also ranked 9th/63 provinces and cities nationwide with 8.64% (maintaining this position compared to 2023).
Maintaining its position in the TOP 10 in the SIPAS and PAR INDEX indexes shows the great efforts and determination of Yen Bai province in reforming administrative procedures closely linked with digital transformation, providing public services has brought many new efficiencies, new values and new benefits to people and businesses.
In 2024, the provincial PAR index includes 8 assessment areas, 38 criteria and 88 component criteria; the total assessment score is 100 points, of which 68 points assess the results of administrative reform and implementation of socio-economic development targets, and 32 points assess the impact of administrative reform through sociological surveys.
The announcement of the SIPAS and PAR INDEX is an opportunity for localities to study and analyze data, clearly identify shortcomings, limitations and causes, thereby issuing and implementing solutions and remedial measures for each specific content and task, contributing to promoting administrative reform, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of sectors and fields under their management and improving the quality of service to people and businesses in 2025 and the following years.
