Thanh Khe District is a compact urban area with high traffic density, bustling service and commercial activities on main roads; at the same time, it is also an old urban area with unsynchronized infrastructure, population concentrated in many alleys, narrow alleys, difficult to apply mechanization in garbage collection, lack of environmental protection infrastructure...

Faced with that reality, Thanh Khe Environmental Enterprise has proactively developed and flexibly adjusted plans for street cleaning and collection and transportation of household waste. In early 2025, Thanh Khe Environmental Enterprise quickly and effectively implemented environmental sanitation work in the area of ​​Hoa Minh Ward (Lien Chieu District), which was previously merged into Thanh Khe District; at the same time, it has maintained this work stably in the merged wards.

In particular, the garbage transportation route of motor vehicles is built and adjusted flexibly, coinciding with the time of completion of garbage collection by workers in alleys and lanes to increase the speed of garbage collection and transportation, minimize the time of garbage waiting for vehicles on the sidewalk, helping to improve the landscape and enhance environmental quality. Along with that, workers and motor vehicles are arranged to promptly collect garbage generated by businesses operating late at night and early in the morning to keep the streets clean and beautiful...

Director of Thanh Khe Environmental Enterprise Nguyen Viet Hung said that the enterprise has built and flexibly adjusted plans for street cleaning and garbage collection and transportation to suit each time and actual situation, bringing efficiency to production and business activities.

The unit actively coordinates with departments and offices of Thanh Khe district and the People's Committees of wards to provide good service for street sanitation and collection and transportation of household waste, raising the rate of household waste directly collected by the enterprise in Thanh Khe district to more than 99% with an average volume of 185 tons of waste/day and no situation of collecting waste every other day.

On the other hand, the enterprise also proactively coordinates the general cleaning of the environment at waste generation points; launches the Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday movement; serves environmental sanitation on holidays and Tet; promptly overcomes the consequences of storms and floods... The enterprise also focuses on implementing plans to change garbage collection hours in residential areas in a more reasonable direction, collects recyclable waste, eliminates temporary garbage collection points, hot spots of environmental sanitation; handles low prices, debris, bulky and large-sized objects that people throw indiscriminately on the roads and vacant lots...

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung also said that in the coming time, the enterprise will continue to strive to complete and exceed the production and business targets and tasks assigned by the company as well as develop and direct the implementation of street cleaning plans and reasonable collection and transportation of household waste to improve economic and social efficiency.

In addition, the enterprise continues to implement the mechanized plan for collecting household waste and cleaning streets; promptly handle people's feedback on environmental sanitation, not allowing hot spots of waste to occur; continue to do a good job of collecting recycled waste to contribute to promoting waste classification at source in the district...

Notably, Thanh Khe Environmental Enterprise strives to collect 100% of domestic waste in Thanh Khe district; the amount of collected waste increases by an average of 3-5% annually; the quality of street sanitation is increasingly improved and cleaner and more beautiful.
