Born into a large Mong family, her life was full of hardships and difficulties. Since childhood, she and her family did many jobs from plowing fields, growing corn to raising cattle and poultry to earn money to pay for their living expenses and their own education. Despite all the hardships, she always tried her best to have a stable life in the future.
Ms. Vac confided: With a lack of food and clothing, thinking about my family and future life, I always tried my best. After finishing high school, I went to work in the commune and continued to study and work at the same time. At work, I always try to complete the assigned tasks well, actively go to the village to grasp the lives of the people to find ways to overcome difficulties. I also regularly connect with organizations and businesses, implement charity programs, review poor households, and make support lists. Working in Ta Ngao commune, in 2006, Ms. Vac was elected as the President of the Women's Union of the commune. During her 10 years as President of the Women's Union of the commune (2006-2016), she walked dozens of kilometers on slippery dirt roads to villages such as Hang Lia 1, Hang Lia 2, Dien Thang, Sang Tung... to encourage women to increase production, eliminate bad customs, and avoid social evils. She created conditions to help members borrow capital through the association, participate in vocational training classes, access science and technology, encourage members to help each other escape poverty, visit and learn from typical economic models. Not only that, activities such as environmental sanitation, preventing early marriage, not having a third child, fighting and denouncing crimes were always initiated by her and became typical movements in the branches.
Having held positions such as Vice Chairman of the People's Council and then Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, she has always been fair and objective, demonstrating the full responsibility of a Party member. In her work, she always pays attention to soliciting people's opinions, and only starts work when people agree.
