Lai Chau will host the Then Kin Pang Festival in 2025 on April 6-7, 2025

Accordingly, Traditional Ritual at Then House   will take place at 7:30 a.m. on April 7, 2025 (March 10, 2025 lunar calendar) at Then house, Khong Lao village, Khong Lao commune, Phong Tho district with the following rituals: Then worship to open the festival and sanctify; incense offering - cleansing to dispel bad luck; incense offering to make wishes - inviting Then, blessing and praying for luck; Then worship to pray for blessings and give thanks.

The Festival Opening Program will take place at 8:00 a.m. on April 7, 2025 (March 10, 2025 Lunar calendar) at the Cultural House yard of Khong Lao commune, Phong Tho district.

Within the framework of the Festival, there will be many special activities such as: En cay competition; To ma le; Going around the stone circle; Walking on stilts to relay; Tung con; Fishing competition; Experiencing folk games: Crossbow shooting; Tung con; Blindfolded gong beating; To ma le; Walking on Kieu bridge; Traditional costume performance, art exchange and xoè dance performance; Competition to preserve traditional cultural values ​​of the Thai ethnic group; Culinary competition; "Ap ho Pang" performance (hair washing performance) and reenacting the river life of the Thai ethnic group (casting nets, casting nets, sand casting...) and experiencing water splashing; Space to display and introduce Thai ethnic culture; Space to display and introduce OCOP products, typical agricultural products of Phong Tho district...
