Job introduction in central coastal district

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Thuan province organized a Job Fair with the theme "Consulting and introducing sustainable jobs" in Tuy Phong district, attracting more than 700 workers to introduce young people and healthy workers to participate in the labor market inside and outside the district, including working abroad.

Widely disseminated information for workers to participate

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Thuan province, the trading session has consulting booths by units, businesses, and vocational training establishments participating in providing information on the labor market ; domestic and foreign job consulting; and job search and vocational training registration.

The trading session is a place for information exchange between participating units and workers on issues related to labor, employment and vocational training. There are direct job consulting and connection activities: providing information on labor recruitment needs, labor attraction policies of participating units, creating conditions for workers who need to find jobs to be consulted, interviewed, registered, recruited, and trained as required.

To make the trading session effective, Mr. Duong Hong Son, Vice Chairman of Tuy Phong District People's Committee, said that communes and towns make lists and send invitations to workers to participate, giving priority to workers from poor households, near-poor households, and households that have just escaped poverty and are unemployed or have unstable jobs to participate in the trading session.

Accordingly, Lien Huong town has 150 people; Phan Ri Cua town has 100 people; Chi Cong commune has 70 people; Phuoc The commune has 70 people; Vinh Tan, Vinh Hao, Phong Phu, Phu Lac, Binh Thanh, Hoa Minh communes have 50 people/commune; Phan Dung commune has 20 people.

In addition, units widely and regularly announce the organization of the 2024 Job Fair on the public address system so that workers can grasp and register to participate when needed.

Job fair attracts more than 700 workers

The Military Commands of communes and towns notify and send invitations to young people who have completed their military service in the locality and are in need of finding jobs or learning a trade to participate in job fairs to have the opportunity to work and increase income for themselves and their families.

Each unit directly participates in a booth to provide consultation and introduce vocational training or joint training functions for workers in need to register to participate in vocational training.

The bridge between labor and business

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Thuan province, the transaction session aims to effectively implement and contribute to solving employment for workers to reduce the unemployment rate, stabilize the lives of workers, especially workers from poor households, near-poor households and households that have just escaped poverty. Workers have the opportunity to directly contact businesses and vocational training facilities to choose jobs and careers that are suitable for them.

Consulting businesses at the trading session

The session will provide information on domestic and foreign labor and employment. The session will also create a favorable environment for businesses in need to select and recruit suitable labor resources for the positions they need to use to improve productivity and expand production and business development.

Binh Thuan Employment Service Center makes a list of businesses in the province, businesses operating services to send workers to work abroad in the province, and vocational training facilities to invite them to participate in booths for direct consultation, labor recruitment, and enrollment at the job fair.

The trading session is a bridge between businesses and people.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Thuan province, said that the 2024 job fair aims to help workers, youth union members, students, and pupils receive the most complete and comprehensive advice and information on career orientation and job-seeking skills. It also promotes, presents, introduces, and provides recruitment needs for job positions from unskilled workers to university graduates working at domestic enterprises and studying abroad and working abroad under contracts.

In addition, the job fair helps vocational training institutions, vocational training units, and job service centers to directly and fully introduce to workers, youth union members, and students about the potential, strengths, occupations, training scale, and admission methods of vocational training units, and information on the domestic and foreign labor market to help them choose a career that suits their abilities and interests .

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh added that the world of careers is extremely rich and diverse. Affirming and succeeding in career and employment is the legitimate dream of many young people. Doing the jobs that they love, are passionate about and dedicating their youth's strength and intelligence to the development of their chosen profession is the desire of young people, but in reality, it is difficult to choose a suitable profession. The job fair is like a bridge to help workers, youth union members, students have the opportunity to interact, demonstrate their abilities and find job opportunities that match their aspirations at reputable businesses.
