On educational streaming

Hopefully in the new year, with the support of all levels in the education sector, parents and students' understanding of educational streaming and career orientation, it will be promoted early from the junior high school stage, thereby creating a premise for choosing subjects at the high school level, the ratio of studying natural sciences and social sciences will be more balanced, thereby creating a large enough resource for the development of science, technology and engineering in the future.

Right from secondary school, students need to receive career counseling through practical programs and hands-on experiences. Changing the concept of vocational education: it is necessary to improve the quality of vocational schools, helping students and parents understand that vocational training is not a "lower path" but a potential direction. Linking with businesses: high schools and vocational schools should cooperate with businesses to train according to market needs, helping students find jobs immediately after graduation.

High school graduation exam 2025 and university admission

In 2025, the graduation exam in a new exam format will be conducted for the first batch of students completing the 2018 general education program. This is an important exam to evaluate the results of the implementation of the new general education program and is also an important basis for admission to universities.

In all stages of the exam, I still look forward to the most is the exam that can both evaluate the learning results of students in 3 years of study, the exam has practical elements, and has good differentiation ability to serve as a basis for university admission, a good score distribution and is evenly distributed according to statistical principles, avoiding the situation of score distribution skewed to one side or following the saddle curve... Good differentiation of the exam, good organization will be an important premise for university admission. If the graduation exam is done well, universities will not have to organize separate exams, ensuring more fairness for candidates in all regions of the country.

International achievements – Towards deep integration

In recent years, Vietnamese students have achieved many proud achievements in international competitions such as Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Information Technology. However, to go further, I hope to have a more systematic investment. Accordingly, the discovery and training of excellent students should be done early, systematically, long-term and gradually filtered through each step, early detection of excellent students from lower levels to have a plan to train them.

The National Excellent Student Selection Exam is organized by large examination councils, nationwide with about 5-6 examination councils, which not only saves resources but also creates opportunities for candidates and teachers to exchange, learn, ...

Expanding examination opportunities: not only focusing on traditional exams but also encouraging students to participate in many other international academic playgrounds, especially in new fields such as artificial intelligence, data science, other international olympics, etc.

Support students after winning prizes: there should be policies to create conditions for them to continue developing their talents in Vietnam, instead of just considering achievements as highlights and then forgetting them afterwards. Students who win prizes in national and international competitions have the opportunity to continue studying the majors and fields in which they won prizes, so that they can continue to develop into experts in the future.

When we do these things well, we have the right to hope that our students' international exam results will not only increase in quantity and quality, maintain and increase their position, but also create a truly meaningful learning and competition movement, thereby nurturing talented personnel for the country's development.

The year 2025 opens up many opportunities for innovation in the education sector. As a teacher, I hope that the above improvements will help Vietnam's education develop further, students have a better learning environment, teachers are motivated to teach, and society has high-quality human resources so that the country can confidently enter a new era, an era of national development.

For me, my greatest wish is for students to have a truly happy and inspiring learning environment every day they come to school.

I hope that schools will implement more educational programs on life skills and conflict resolution skills towards a safe and healthy school so that the classroom is a place where students can find joy and creativity. Besides, I also hope to build more bookcases not only for students in the city but also for students in rural, remote and isolated areas.

I believe that building a reading culture for students will be a solid foundation for them to become knowledgeable, ethical citizens and able to face challenges in life.
