Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province presents gifts to veterans participating in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign

Dien Bien TV - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification, on April 14, in Ho Chi Minh City, the working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province led by Comrade Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, met and presented gifts to veterans and former youth volunteers who directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.

At the meeting, comrade Mua A Vang affirmed: Today's generation will strive and be determined to build and protect the Fatherland. At the same time, he hoped that veterans would continue to pass on the revolutionary spirit to the younger generation; actively contribute their intelligence with the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to build a developed country. On this occasion, the working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province presented 100 gifts worth 130 million VND to veterans and former youth volunteers who directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Monument and Ho Chi Minh Museum; visited the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery; and presented a number of traditional relics of the ethnic groups in Dien Bien province to be displayed at the Dien Bien Stilt House in Thu Duc City./.
