At Hai Duong station, on January 24, about 800 passengers got off the station, equivalent to the number of passengers on the last working day of the 2024 Tet holiday and 3-4 times higher than normal days.
At the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway interchange on National Highway 38B in Gia Loc district, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., about 6,800 vehicles entered and 8,500 vehicles exited the expressway. The number of vehicles entering and exiting the expressway was about 3 times higher than on weekdays and 2 times higher than on weekends.
Although the number of vehicles entering and leaving the highway has increased, the movement of vehicles has been relatively smooth, without any incidents. A representative of the management unit of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection on National Highway 38B said that the number of passengers is expected to increase tonight and tomorrow morning because tomorrow is the official start of the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday.
At Hai Duong and Hai Tan bus stations, the number of people entering and leaving the stations has increased slightly compared to normal days. The bus stations have decorated and cleaned the stations, and arranged seats to serve passengers.
