This morning, September 27, the delegation of the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Tri province, led by the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province, Nguyen Chien Thang, worked with Quang Tri Pedagogical College to supervise the implementation of policies and laws on management, use, and rearrangement of public assets such as houses and land in the period of 2018 - 2024.

Quang Tri Pedagogical College was granted Land Use Right Certificate No. TC01127/QSDD by the Provincial People's Committee with an area of 106,110 m2 ; of which 424 m2 is used to build the office, 6,355 m2 is used to build buildings for career activities, the remaining area is the stadium and garden.
The school currently has 12 buildings, including 1 office building and 11 public buildings. From 2018-2024, despite limited funding, the school has annually conducted an inventory of assets, inspected, replaced, and installed fire prevention and fighting equipment in the buildings.
Currently, the school is also re-measuring the land area to be able to build boundary fences and manage the land assigned by the State strictly, ensuring compliance with the law.
On the other hand, in the period of 2018-2024, the school has leased and shared public assets managed by the state to other units according to the provisions of law in order to fully promote the function and efficiency of public assets, while having more funds to maintain and repair assets at the unit, contributing to reducing pressure on the state budget.
Reporting at the meeting, the leaders of the Pedagogical College said that currently, most of the buildings, classrooms, and functional rooms that have been invested in and put into use show signs of deterioration and damage. Although the school has issued a maintenance process for construction works according to the provisions of law, because the repair and maintenance depends on the allocated budget and the school's career revenue, the number of repaired works is still limited.
Representatives of the Pedagogical College proposed that the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and relevant departments and branches continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the school to stabilize its operations, including allocating medium-term public investment capital for the period 2025-2030 so that the school has enough resources to maintain and repair degraded construction items; approve the policy of demolishing or repairing the practice building to ensure safety during operations; and continue to guide and create favorable conditions for the school to implement legal regulations on management and use of public assets.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang highly appreciated the seriousness and creativity of the Pedagogical College in complying with regulations on the use and management of public assets such as headquarters, houses and land at public service units in the period of 2018-2024.
It is recommended that in the coming time, the school coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to adjust and confirm land boundaries according to current law provisions; research and strictly implement the leasing and shared use of public assets managed by the state.
At the same time, review the construction works that the school is managing and using, promptly propose to competent authorities to evaluate and re-inspect degraded and damaged items and works to have a treatment plan to ensure the highest efficiency, avoiding wasting state resources.
After the monitoring period, the Provincial People's Council will propose that the Provincial People's Committee assign an advisory agency to develop a joint venture cooperation process and lease residential land in public service units to ensure consistency and unity throughout the province.
