Thanks to its continued excellent results in 2023, Kaspersky Standard has been awarded “Product of the Year” by AV-Comparatives, a leading independent testing laboratory.
The award marks seven consecutive years of receiving the “Product of the Year” award and makes Kaspersky the most honored cybersecurity company in the industry. It is also the first recognition for the Kaspersky Product Portfolio, which was introduced in 2022 and includes Kaspersky Premium, Kaspersky Plus, and Kaspersky Standard. In addition, Kaspersky received five awards in various product performance categories, making it the only cybersecurity vendor to achieve this number of awards in 2023.
Regarding Kaspersky Standard's features, AV-Comparatives highlighted the program's simple installation process with safe default options as well as its modern tiled interface, which makes it easy for users to access all the necessary features from the home page. Furthermore, testers appreciated Kaspersky Standard's performance in malware detection scenarios, whereby attempts to open a folder containing malware are automatically detected by Kaspersky's solution and all threats are eliminated, giving the malware no chance to replicate, spread to the system, or even leave.
