(NLDO) – Today's gold price increased for both SJC gold bars and gold rings, reaching 84.5 million VND/tael.
On the morning of December 26, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 82.5 million VND/tael and the selling price at 84.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday.
This is also the gold bar trading price at PNJ Company, Eximbank, and Sacombank. Meanwhile, ACB raised the gold bar buying price to 83.8 million VND/tael; Mi Hong Company bought up to 84 million VND/tael; the selling price was similar to other businesses, around 84.5 million VND/tael.
SJC gold bar and gold ring prices increase again
Not only gold bars, the price of 99.99 gold rings also increased this morning. SJC Company bought plain gold rings at 82.5 million VND/tael and sold at 84.3 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.
PNJ, DOJI, and Mi Hong also sold plain gold rings at a higher price, around 84.5 million VND/tael. The buying price between businesses had a difference of about 1 million VND, ranging from 82.3 million VND to 83.8 million VND/tael.
Domestic gold prices fluctuated little this morning as world prices were closed for Christmas and New Year. In the short term, gold prices are expected to be difficult to break out today as the USD index on the international market continues to remain high. Currently, the USD index is at approximately 108 points, the highest in about 2 years.
The world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 80.8 million VND/tael, lower than SJC gold bars and gold rings by about 3.7 million VND/tael. This is a record low difference in the past year, especially since both SJC gold bars and gold rings are traded at close prices.
