Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently OM 380 raw rice increased by 50 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice fluctuated at 8,150 - 8,200 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuated at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuated at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products range from 7,300 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant rice bran ranges from 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; rice bran 2 ranges from 6,800 - 6,900 VND/kg; the price of bran ranges from 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the quantity of imported rice is quite good, the price of all kinds of rice is relatively stable. In An Giang, the quantity is quite good, new purchases in warehouses are slow, the price of all kinds of rice is stable. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity of raw rice is quite good, warehouses are regularly purchased, prices are stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the quantity of imported rice is more regular, raw rice is in bulk at stable prices, warehouses are easy to buy.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), the amount arriving at the docks is quite good, the market warehouses buy regularly, prices of all kinds fluctuate little. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), the amount is moderate, the rice is good and easy to sell, the price is stable.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,000-16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000-22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000-20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice fluctuates at VND21,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is priced at VND22,000/kg.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg (compared to mid-week); the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,400 - 6,650 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,700 - 5,800 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuated at 6,300 - 6,500 VND/kg.

Recorded in many localities today, the source is quite good, buying and selling transactions are slow. In An Giang, the source is more in Chau Thanh - Thoai Son, new rice transactions are slow, prices are stable. In Dong Thap, rice buying and selling transactions are regular in the 3-crop fields, rice prices are stable.

In Long An, the supply is good, the price tends to decrease slightly, traders mainly buy cut rice. In Soc Trang, farmers offer stable prices, traders pay low prices, buying and selling transactions are slow. In An Giang, the supply of rice is good, the price of fragrant rice in some purchasing partners decreases slightly, new buying and selling transactions are slow.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 391 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 365 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 307 USD/ton.
