Northern region
The price of live pigs today (January 11, 2025) in the Northern region continued to record a slight increase in Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Phu Tho provinces, all increasing by VND 2,000/kg. Ha Nam, Vinh Phu, Hanoi, and Tuyen Quang all increased by VND 1,000/kg and all reached the threshold of VND 70,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is fluctuating between 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. This area has many provinces and cities with the highest price of live pigs in the country at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region
Similarly, the price of live pigs today (January 11, 2025) in the Central Highlands region recorded price fluctuations in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa... all increased by 1,000 VND/kg, with Ninh Thuan province alone increasing by 2,000 VND.
Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 67,000 and 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lam Dong and Thanh Hoa provinces have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces have prices ranging from 66,000 to 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region
The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 11, 2025) continues to record a flat trend in the provinces and cities. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
In particular, the price of live pigs in Kien Giang increased by one, reaching 69,000 VND/kg, the same transaction level as Dong Nai and Tay Ninh. In Can Tho, Soc Trang, Ca Mau and Ben Tre, the price of live pigs reached 68,000 VND/kg. An Giang and Bac Lieu both increased to 67,000 VND/kg.
In general, the live hog market today has increased in price in the Northern and Central Highlands regions. Many provinces and cities have set a new price list of 70,000 VND/kg. Surveys show that live hogs nationwide are being traded at around 66,000 - 70,000 VND/kg.
