By the end of March 2025, the total livestock herd in Binh Dinh recorded significant growth. The herd of cows reached 306,600, up 1.7%; the herd of pigs reached 712,500, up 4.3%; while the poultry herd reached nearly 9.9 million, up 2.9%, with the chicken herd accounting for more than 8.3 million, up 3.2% over the same period last year.

In the first three months of 2025, meat output also made significant progress. Live beef reached 10,795 tons, up 1.8%; live pork reached 38,711 tons, up 7.6%; and live poultry recorded more than 7,860 tons, up 3.7%, of which live chicken reached more than 6,878 tons, up 4.1%.

To move towards modern agriculture, Binh Dinh is currently promoting the implementation of 14 high-tech farms and 14 VietGAHP-standard farms in areas such as An Nhon, Hoai Nhon, Phu Cat, Phu My, Tay Son and Hoai An, to improve the quality and efficiency of livestock farming.
