Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of March 29, 2025 |
Experts assess that coffee is currently being harvested at the end of the season, supply is tight... however, coffee prices are decreasing, this is a "strange" and difficult to understand phenomenon in the pepper market.
However, according to experts, domestic coffee prices are at record highs. The main reason is believed to be the scarcity of supply in the global market, especially Robusta coffee, along with concerns about dry weather affecting coffee production in major producing countries such as Vietnam and Brazil.
Some coffee purchasing agents in the Central Highlands region said that although coffee prices in the domestic market are high, purchasing is still difficult, and many farmers continue to hoard their goods waiting for prices to increase.
In the world market, coffee prices continued to fall sharply for the second consecutive day, with Arabica coffee falling to a one-month low for the nearest futures contract, while Robusta coffee fell to a 2.5-month low.
This is due to forecasts of rain in Brazil, which should ease drought concerns. Meteorologist Climatempo has forecast widespread showers in Brazil's coffee-growing regions next week.
According to analysts, the commodity market in general and coffee in particular are also affected by concerns about US economic growth. In the context of consumer confidence falling for the fourth consecutive month, with Americans pessimistic about their financial future at its highest level in 12 years amid rising concerns about tariffs and inflation.
