Meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

Dien Bien TV - On the afternoon of November 29, the Provincial Veterans Association held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association. Attending the meeting were Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Giang Thi Hoa, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

The delegates reviewed the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army; the 35-year tradition of building and growing of the Vietnam Veterans and the Dien Bien Provincial Veterans Association.

Accordingly, over the past 80 years, the Vietnam People's Army, together with the entire Party and people, has achieved great victories in the struggle for national liberation, defending the Fatherland and fulfilling international obligations. Over the past 35 years, the War Veterans Association at all levels in the province has promoted its role in gathering and promoting the spirit of solidarity among members; stepped up propaganda and mobilized members to promote the qualities and traditions of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively participate in building and protecting the Party, the government, the socialist regime and the great national unity bloc...

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mua A Son highly appreciated the contributions and dedication of generations of veterans to the overall development of the province. He hoped that veteran members in the whole province would actively promote the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation", proactively coordinate with mass organizations to effectively carry out the work of educating the tradition of patriotism for generations.

Propose that all levels of the provincial Veterans Association continue to closely follow the local political tasks, to effectively carry out the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and the movement "Veterans compete to develop the economy, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty"./.
