The program is a large-scale event, organized to celebrate many important historical milestones of the nation such as: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; 50 years of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification; 80 years of the People's Public Security Traditional Day. The program is organized by the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, scheduled to take place on the evening of April 12, at the Tay Ninh Heroes and Martyrs Memorial Square and broadcast live on VTV1. Broadcast on channels TNTV, ANTV. With a duration of 90 minutes, the program has 3 chapters with 6 scenes, alternating between elements of stage art, cinema and modern performance technology.
Director Tuyet Minh emphasized the meaning: "We wish not only to recreate history, but also to create a bridge between the past and the present, through art to help the younger generation be more proud of the journey of our army and people to fight for national independence."
This is the first time the Department of Political Work (Ministry of Public Security) has carried out a political art program in the form of semi-realistic scenes, recreating the feats and silent sacrifices of the security forces in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
The main content of the program depicts the life and revolutionary career of Colonel To Quyen and his predecessors at the Central Office for Southern Vietnam. From his childhood in Xuan Cau to his days fighting on the Tay Ninh battlefield, the image of Colonel To Quyen represents the bravery and loyalty of the previous generation.
In addition, the program also honors the Southern security soldiers who operated behind enemy lines, faced sacrifices to protect the revolution, and contributed to the historic victory in 1975.
