According to the draft guidelines for university and college admissions announced by the Ministry of Education and Training on March 29, all universities in The whole country will have university entrance exams in 2025 according to a common schedule, there will no longer be early admissions like in previous years.
Each candidate will be given an account by the Department of Education and Training to log into the general admission support system. After being given an account, students will log into the system to check their high school academic results (report cards). If they find any errors, they will report them to their teachers for correction before 5:00 p.m. on June 6.
For independent candidates (those who have graduated from high school or college), they must register to receive an account at the reception point (according to the regulations and instructions of the Department of Education and Training where they reside). The time for independent candidates to submit their registration form to receive an account is from July 10 to 20.
Some milestones in the draft admission schedule
From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes (unlimited number of times).
For candidates who are considered for direct admission or priority admission (mainly excellent students who have won national and international awards), they must register for admission with the university before 5:00 p.m. on June 30. If they are admitted, they must continue to register their admission wishes on the system according to the general admission schedule.
From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates pay fees online.
Before 5:30 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates (including direct admitted candidates) must confirm their enrollment on the system.
From September 1 to December is the additional admission period (candidates who have passed the entrance exam and confirmed their enrollment will not be considered for additional admission, except in cases where the school allows them not to enroll).
In this year's draft enrollment guidelines, the Ministry of Education and Training also directed schools not to require candidates to confirm enrollment or enroll before August 22 and not to complete enrollment confirmation or enrollment before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 (including joint training programs with foreign countries).
After receiving comments from universities and departments of education and training on the draft admission guidelines, the Ministry of Education and Training will finalize and issue the guidelines, at which point the university admission schedule will be officially announced.
