Building on the achievements of previous Festivals, the highlight of Hue Festival 2024 is the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 with the theme “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development” taking place from June 7 to 12, 2024. The “Opening Ceremony” program with a pre-opening street performance at Ngo Mon Square will be a welcoming activity to open the festival week.
In which, the Art Program is a night of sound and light that demonstrates creativity on the core foundation of the cultural heritage values of the nation and humanity. The art program will become sparkling and shining with the support of modern technology of laser projection, LED Matrix, Hologram, 3D Mapping. The performances on stage will show Hue city is "Lighting up the heritage land" with sustainable development, respecting nature, friendliness, and peace; Praising the land of "The magical ancient capital"; A place with a long tradition of "Converging the tones" of regions at home and abroad; Honoring a city of sustainable development with the aspiration of "Brightening forever".

The Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 has brought participants new and unique experiences about culture, history and art, a place where attractive performances by typical domestic and international artists converge, introducing royal court music and dance and unique folk melodies; high-quality traditional and contemporary art programs of 8 countries from continents taking place every night on stages at Kien Trung Palace, Thai Binh Lau, Thieu Phuong Garden (Hue Imperial City); community stages of Quoc Hoc stele, 3.2 park and throughout Thua Thien - Hue province.
Hue Festival connects Hue in history and Hue in the present to shape Hue in the future - a Hue that is always new. We are very pleased to welcome all of you as well as visitors from near and far to the ancient capital of Hue to enjoy many new, unique and impressive features.
The Hue International Arts Festival 2024 concluded with an art night on June 12 at Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial City, a unique and distinctive art party, creating a vibrant space of intersection between tradition and modernity, a place to experience the cultural colors of the ancient capital of Hue, Vietnam and countries around the world.
In addition to the main programs and activities, there are also accompanying and responding activities, socialization programs and many other community cultural activities. In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" will continue to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website. https://happy.vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world. Thereby helping people in the country, compatriots abroad and international friends access authentic images of the country, Vietnamese people, Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights, towards a happy Vietnam.
Each contest category (photo and video) has the following prizes and prize values:

– 02 Silver Medals: 20,000,000 VND

– 01 most voted work: 5,000,000 VND
