Bringing fishermen with work accidents in Truong Sa back to the mainland

After a long journey at sea, this morning (March 29), ship 420 of the Naval Region 4 Command brought fisherman Dang Van Cong (born in 1978, residing in Xuan Trung village, Tam Quang commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province) from Truong Sa island district to Cam Ranh base port (Khanh Hoa).

Previously, on the evening of March 16, while 45 fishermen on the fishing boat QNa -90444 TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Van (born in 1979, residing in Tam Quang commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province), were fishing for squid in the Truong Sa sea area (Khanh Hoa), a work accident occurred.

Due to carelessness, fisherman Dang Van Cong slipped from the stairs on the ship to the floor, fell, hit his head, neck and shoulder and hit some objects, leading to unconsciousness. The captain and the group of fishermen on the ship took the victim to Song Tu Tay Island Infirmary for emergency treatment and trauma treatment.

To ensure the health and safety of fishermen, the Naval Region 4 Command directed ship 420 to receive and bring fisherman Dang Van Cong to the mainland so that his family could continue to take him for treatment.
