Making spiritual tourism a four-season destination

In recent years, the number of visitors participating in spiritual tourism has increasingly accounted for a large proportion of the province's tourist structure. This shows that the attraction of spiritual tourism is increasing. Therefore, to overcome the seasonal factor, develop spiritual tourism more and more, becoming a "four-season wonder", currently, all levels, sectors and localities in the province are focusing on synchronously implementing many solutions.

Making spiritual tourism a four-season destination The historical, cultural and architectural relic site of Ba Trieu Temple, Trieu Loc Commune (Hau Loc), attracts many tourists to visit and offer incense.

Mr. Truong Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Center for Historical Research and Cultural Heritage Conservation of Thanh Hoa, in charge of managing the historical, cultural and architectural relic site of Ba Trieu Temple, Trieu Loc Commune (Hau Loc), said: "In recent years, the trend of spiritual tourism among people has been very high. However, spiritual tourism only "explodes" strongly in the first months of the year, because this is an opportunity for people to go to the pagoda to pray for luck and peace for the whole year. At the historical, cultural and architectural relic site of Ba Trieu Temple, the number of tourists coming here to offer incense and visit the scenery is only the highest in early spring and on festival occasions, while the number of visitors on normal days is not much. Mainly in the summer, students come here to visit, experience, and learn to supplement their historical knowledge. Therefore, to attract visitors throughout the four seasons, in addition to preserving, embellishing and promoting existing values, we have been focusing on building more tours and tourist routes. connecting with other destinations in Hau Loc district and the province, especially tours, spiritual tourism routes and scenic spots. Currently, we are coordinating with the University of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build a number of tours and tourist routes such as: Oanh liet khuc trang ca (Ba Trieu Temple - Phu Dien village communal house - Tomb of the three generals of the Ly family and the tomb of the Queen Mother - Ban The Temple; Hau Loc - Sacred heritage area 1 (Ba Trieu Temple - Phu Dien village communal house - Tomb of the three generals of the Ly family and the tomb of the Queen Mother - Phong Muc scenic relic cluster); Hau Loc - Sacred heritage area 2 (Ba Trieu Temple - Phong Muc scenic relic cluster - Vich Pagoda - Diem Pho relic - Nghinh Mon of the Ly dynasty and the temple of the Queen Mother of the Ly dynasty); connecting the heritage of Thanh land (Ba Trieu Temple - Sung Nghiem Dien Thanh Pagoda - Dong Son ancient village)... In addition, we are also aiming to integrate more experiential activities to increase the destination value of the relic site. Along with that, we focus on training and fostering a team of professional tour guides, in order to convey the content and meaning of the area. relics and festivals of Ba Trieu temple to tourists.

Nature has bestowed on Vinh Loc district beautiful natural landscapes along with many unique and attractive historical and cultural relics such as Binh Khuong temple, Linh Giang pagoda, Nhan Lo pagoda, Tam Tong temple and many beautiful and famous scenic spots such as Kim Son cave, Tien Son, Eo Le cave, Ho Cong cave... on the cave system still preserves the writings of poets through hundreds of Chinese poems still preserved on the cliffs praising the beautiful landscape of mountains and rivers. This is the potential and advantage for the district to exploit to develop spiritual tourism. Therefore, in order for spiritual tourism to develop in all four seasons, in recent years, the district has actively developed spiritual tours to the source. The most typical are the tours: Linh Ung pagoda - Hoa Long pagoda; Tran Khat Chan temple - Trinh Palace; Vet temple - Da But stone statue area - Tong Duy Tan church and tomb - Tran Khat Chan temple - Giang pagoda - Ho Dynasty Citadel world heritage. At the same time, continue to effectively implement the project of developing community-based tourism in Vinh Loc district, initially implementing a pilot model of community tourism at Lam Son Trang tourist site, where there is a system of antiques and ancient houses. In addition, the district develops high-tech agricultural products combined with developing eco-tourism associated with natural landscapes, organizing experiential tourism activities, exploring nature at Kim Son scenic spot, Ho Cong cave, and Mang Mang lake.

In addition, Vinh Loc district also actively maintains and regularly introduces traditional folk games, performances, and performing arts such as: Xuan Ang Cheo, ancient plays, Ca Tru singing... Organizing traditional festivals such as: water procession festival, Du Anh pagoda festival, death anniversary of General Tran Khat Chan; death anniversary of Minh Khang Thai Vuong Trinh Kiem... At the same time, gradually improving the scale and quality of festivals, forming unique and characteristic cultural tourism products.

Thanh Hoa is one of the provinces with rich potential for tangible cultural heritage, because in the process of fighting to build and defend the country, generations of ancestors left behind many valuable, rich and diverse tangible cultural heritages such as Lam Kinh National Special Relic Site, Ba Trieu Temple, Le Hoan Temple... Along with that are festivals held regularly such as Ba Trieu Temple Festival, Muong Xia Festival, Tro Chieng Festival... This is a favorable condition to promote the spiritual tourism of the province to develop more and more, meeting the needs of both sightseeing and pilgrimage, and going to the temple of tourists. Therefore, in order to make spiritual tourism more and more attractive to tourists throughout the four seasons of the year, in addition to paying attention to the restoration, embellishment and preservation of the landscape of the relics, localities in the province are focusing on expanding and developing more tourism products such as eco-tourism, experiential tourism... associated with spiritual tourism; Focus on linking famous spiritual tourist attractions both inside and outside the province, because tourists want to visit a "chain of famous, diverse tourist attractions in the same closed tour, convenient route". At the same time, focus on training the team of tour guides at the relics in a more systematic and professional manner.
