Dong Nai will organize the first cultural friendship week

According to Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Thanh Tri, in the first 3 months of 2025, people's foreign affairs work was implemented by the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and 10 member friendship associations in coordination with departments, branches and localities, achieving many positive results.

In particular, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations has mobilized foreign non-governmental resources and members to contribute funds to build 20 houses in response to the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dong Nai province in 2025. At the same time, many foreign non-governmental projects have been organized, such as: giving scholarships to students overcoming difficulties; installing and putting into use clean water systems in schools; giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances...

In the coming time, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, along with member friendship associations, departments, and localities, will continue to coordinate to implement people-to-people diplomacy according to the 2025 plan, including focusing on organizing a cultural friendship week scheduled to take place in September. This event will be organized with many activities for people to participate in, such as: cultural, sports, and culinary exchanges; talks on friendship work; organizing study abroad consulting; implementing friendship gardens, etc.

At the same time, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and its member friendship associations will focus on developing members and strengthening the association organization; mobilizing foreign non-governmental organizations, foreign associations and FDI enterprises to participate in projects and non-projects to support the poor, ethnic minorities with housing difficulties, and support scholarships for students overcoming difficulties, etc.
