According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, on April 3, the Provincial People's Committee will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a house under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Dong Nai Province in 2025 in Phu Ly Commune, Vinh Cuu District. The program will be broadcast live on Dong Nai Radio and Television for people to follow.
From now until April 30, Dong Nai is determined to start building houses for 265 poor households, near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances and complete them in May and June. For those cases added after the review process, the construction will start and be completed in July and August. By September, the province will summarize and evaluate the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
Currently, for families with revolutionary contributions and martyrs’ relatives, the support fund for house construction is 120 million VND. Poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances are supported with 80 million VND to build houses. In addition, Dong Nai also supports Son La province with 119 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in this locality.
To achieve the set goal, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the Department of Finance and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to allocate funds and guide the procedures and documents to resolve housing support for 265 approved households; continue to guide districts and cities to review and compile detailed statistics on the list of households that are not guaranteed according to Decision No. 55/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction but have residential land and damaged houses to use mobilized resources for support according to current regulations.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee directed the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts and communes to coordinate in reviewing the list of subjects requesting to build and repair houses in the area and mobilize and receive support from organizations, individuals and businesses for the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", using funds in accordance with regulations.
The Department of Finance coordinates with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to balance funds from mobilized sources in the province to advise the Provincial People's Committee on appropriate support levels and sources.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in districts and cities to direct the consolidation of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses at the commune level and focus on reviewing data, implementing housing support for beneficiaries in accordance with regulations, avoiding errors, losses, waste, corruption, and negativity. Districts and cities mobilize people, organizations, individuals, and businesses to participate in supporting the program for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in their localities.
