Comrade Tran Huy Tuan was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee.

On the morning of November 6, Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee held meetings of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to carry out the process of electing the Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Central Party Office, the Central Organizing Committee, and the Central Inspection Committee.

Implementing the document of the Party Central Office announcing the Politburo's opinion on the introduction of election to the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and the plan of the Standing Committee of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee on implementing the personnel process to fill the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Based on the results of implementing the procedures on personnel work in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee; based on the proposal of the Standing Committee of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo agreed to introduce comrade Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to be elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the Conference, the Provincial Party Executive Committee elected the Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

As a result, Comrade Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term with an absolute vote of confidence.
