In the list of 23 players coming to Vietnam, coach Masatada Ishii has called up 10 new players who are playing for the national team for the first time and most of them are under 23 years old. This was explained by the Japanese coach to test and find a new generation of players for Thai football. Among them, notable new recruits include central defender Songwut Kraikruan (1m88 tall), central defender with Thai and Danish blood Jonathan Khemdee (1m90), the Swedish-born duo of midfielder William Weidersjo and striker Patrik Gustavsson... The LPBank Cup 2024 international friendly tournament will feature three teams from Vietnam, Russia and Thailand, organized by the VFF. The teams will compete in a round robin to determine points and rankings.
