On the evening of September 15, Seoul E-Land Club suddenly announced that it would part ways with striker Nguyen Van Toan after 9 months of association.
Van Toan parted ways with Seoul E-Land after 9 months of association.
“Van Toan has ended his contract with Seoul E-Land to return to Vietnam. Thank you Van Toan for always being dedicated and enthusiastic. Wish Van Toan good luck in the future,” Seoul E-Land Club wrote on its homepage.
It is worth mentioning that previously the team playing in the Korean second division said they would not let Van Toan leave at the present time.
Coach Park Choong-kyun of Seoul E-Land also said: "I have no intention of letting Van Toan leave the team. He came here for his expertise, not for commercial reasons."
In January 2023, the star from Hai Duong left HAGL after 8 years of association to join Seoul E-Land.
In the shirt of the Korean team, Van Toan played 9 matches in K-League 2 with 388 minutes, without scoring any goals. In addition, Van Toan played 2 matches in the FA Cup and had 1 assist.
However, after a period of regular playing time, since the beginning of June 2023, the striker born in 1996 has no longer appeared on the Seoul E-Land competition registration list.
Part of the reason for Van Toan's "disappearance" is because he was injured.
After leaving Seoul E-Land, his next destination is said to be Nam Dinh Club.
According to research, the Southern team will sign a 3-year contract with Van Toan with a generous salary.
If he joins Nam Dinh, he will reunite with teammates from the national team such as goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh, center back Nguyen Huu Tuan and midfielder Pham Duc Huy.
