The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Tourism Club have coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association... to organize Tet care for 3,000 orphans and children in difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program "Giving Spring Love" was held from January 27 to February 2, 2024 at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area for 3,000 children in difficult circumstances with a budget of 1.8 billion VND contributed by member units of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Tourism Club.
The program is organized to promote the spirit of mutual love, leaving no case without conditions to celebrate Tet; mobilizing social resources to care for orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic, orphans due to other causes, children in difficult circumstances, children with disabilities, children in shelters, open houses, and hometown humanitarian centers... Speaking at the program, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, shared: "It has become a tradition that every time Tet comes, member businesses of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association not only take good care of their employees to have a warm and full Tet, but also actively promote the spirit of 'The good leaves cover the torn leaves', spending time and resources to care for vulnerable groups in society. During this Giap Thin spring, the Young Entrepreneurs Associations of provinces, cities, and industries; clubs and units under the association have been organizing many programs to visit, care for, and give Tet gifts to the poor, policy families, especially children in difficult circumstances... with the hope that they will have a a warm and happy Tet. These are very meaningful activities, demonstrating the social responsibility and community of young entrepreneurs across the country. We wish to join hands with the community to share part of the loss with orphans, accompanying them on the path towards a bright future". Mr. Dang Hong Anh also announced that up to now, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has disbursed more than 7 billion VND; of which in 2023 alone, more than 4 billion VND for 320 children as committed. In addition, the Central Association and member enterprises of the association are currently accompanying the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Orphans and People with Disabilities to sponsor 300 children in difficult circumstances until the age of 18 across the country.
