Enterprises are the self-reliant resources of Hai Phong

On August 19, at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee met and had a dialogue with hundreds of domestic enterprises operating in the city, with the theme "Hai Phong enterprises are united, proud, self-reliant and develop sustainably".

Hai Phong City Party Secretary, Mr. Le Tien Chau chaired a meeting and dialogue with domestic enterprises operating in production, business and services in the city.

The conference aims to enhance the role and responsibility of heads of departments, branches, sectors and localities in directing and advising on administrative procedure settlement with a serious, receptive, listening and accompanying spirit with businesses.

The "hottest" issues are procedures for granting land use right certificates, land allocation, land tax reduction, corporate income tax reduction, VAT reduction, loan interest rate reduction, transportation, city planning orientation... reported by businesses to city leaders.

At the dialogue, Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to completely handle the re-issuance of land use right certificates for Vinaco Company in August.

In response to Vinaco Company's opinion, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, requested the city's Department of Natural Resources and Environment to thoroughly resolve the enterprise's problems.

Sharing with businesses operating in the city, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, affirmed that the recommendations of businesses have basically been answered relatively fully and clearly by the city leaders; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities, and solutions have been provided for further handling, creating conditions for businesses to feel secure in their operations and production.

Director of Hai Phong Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Van Phuong responded to business opinions at the meeting and dialogue.

Representatives of Hoang Loc Enterprise in Hai Phong proposed that city leaders consider reducing land rental prices for enterprises, because since the Covid-19 pandemic appeared until now, many enterprises have fallen into difficult situations, even many enterprises are at risk of bankruptcy.

"I would like to reaffirm to you that the consistent policy of the city's leaders in the past and in the coming time is that domestic enterprises and Hai Phong enterprises are the internal strength and self-reliant resources of the city; we share the same future, and share responsibility for the people, for the development of the city and the country," said Secretary Le Tien Chau.

According to Mr. Chau, the city is committed to paying special attention and providing effective and substantial support to build a truly strong Hai Phong business community. This is not only a policy or resolution but will become specific tasks and solutions in the coming time.
