According to the report at the Conference, the work of the Youth Union was focused on, demonstrating the efforts and creativity of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Information and Communications in organizing activities related to political and professional tasks and the needs of youth union members.
In 2024, political and ideological education continues to be identified as a core and fundamental task. Many practical activities such as studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; programs commemorating revolutionary traditions, and organizing Youth Month have aroused patriotism, national pride and a sense of responsibility among youth union members. Events such as the launching ceremony of Reading Day, seminars, extracurricular activities, or programs visiting historical memorial sites have contributed to comprehensive education on ideology, morality and lifestyle.

The youth volunteer movement continues to be a bright spot with many large-scale programs that have a strong influence. The Youth Union has coordinated with units to carry out many community activities, such as lighting up highlands, building schools, supporting people affected by natural disasters, and organizing a green summer campaign. The total value of the projects and support during the year amounted to hundreds of millions of VND, contributing significantly to improving the lives of people in disadvantaged areas.
The innovation movement has also achieved remarkable results. Many competitions, scientific research projects, and innovation initiatives have been organized, especially activities to promote digital transformation and digital skills for young people. Programs such as "P-Innovation 2024" or the "Digital Vaccine" Campaign have created a favorable environment for young union members to demonstrate their creativity and innovation.

In addition, the work of accompanying young people in studying, improving skills and physical fitness has received special attention. Hundreds of members have participated in courses and professional training; many sports and cultural activities have been organized regularly, creating useful playgrounds and uniting members. The year 2024 marks the outstanding efforts of the Youth Union in organizing diverse and meaningful activities, creating a widespread influence and connecting the community. Youth Union activities not only contribute to the implementation of political tasks but also improve the professional capacity and life skills of youth union members.

Closely linked to political and professional tasks: Organize youth activities to directly support the tasks of the unit and the Ministry, while encouraging union members to contribute creative ideas at work.
Promote cultural, sports and volunteer activities: Celebrate major events such as the industry's founding day, revolutionary press day, create a healthy exchange environment and promote the spirit of volunteerism.
Improve the capacity of union officials: Through training sessions and specialized seminars to develop management and organizational skills for key officials.
Organize key campaigns: Green Summer, Winter Volunteering, and larger-scale annual volunteer programs, aimed at solving practical local problems.
Applying digital transformation in Union activities: Deploying digital initiatives to manage union members and organize activities on online platforms.
The year 2024 has laid a solid foundation with many remarkable successes. With specific orientation and consensus and enthusiasm, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Information and Communications promises to continue to develop even more strongly in 2025, constantly innovating and creating to meet the increasing demands in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement.

Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Information and Communications Nguyen Anh Cuong said; In 2024, the Youth Union of the Ministry recorded many positive results. Ideological and moral education was promoted through activities of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, contributing to raising awareness and sense of responsibility of union members. Volunteer movements such as "Lighting up the highlands", supporting people affected by natural disasters, or "Warm Tet in the highlands" have brought practical values, spreading the spirit of solidarity and humanity. The Youth Union of the Ministry also made its mark with outstanding achievements in scientific research and digital transformation, notably the First Prize of the ACP 2024 International Graphic Design Competition.
Besides the remarkable results, the Youth Union also seriously acknowledged some limitations such as the lack of uniformity among the facilities and the pressure of professional work affecting the time spent on Youth Union activities.
In 2025, the Ministry's Youth Union aims to continue promoting the spirit of initiative and creativity, promoting activities associated with political and professional tasks, and organizing volunteer movements and capacity building training. These efforts promise to make the work of the Union and the youth movement increasingly stronger, contributing positively to the common tasks of the Ministry and the country.
