Information security continued to maintain its leading position in the ASEAN region, while the postal sector recorded a 21% revenue growth, contributing VND5,000 billion to the state budget. The digital technology industry also achieved an estimated hardware and electronics export turnover of 133 billion USD, consolidating Vietnam's position on the global technology map.
One of the highlights of 2024 is the success in digital transformation of the press. The Ministry of Information and Communications has deployed the Index to assess the maturity level of digital transformation of the press, with 28 press agencies recognized as excellent. At the same time, guidance documents and support tools have helped hundreds of press agencies accelerate the digital transformation process, improve the quality of information and better serve the public.
