Participating in the discussion on the country's socio-economic situation, delegate Au Thi Mai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, raised a number of shortcomings in the work of caring for, educating and protecting children that need to be focused on and invested in to resolve, such as: The situation of child abuse, especially child sexual abuse, continues to be complicated, increasing in both the number of cases, the number of child abusers and the number of abused children.
School violence still occurs in many localities and there are serious cases, becoming a concern for many families and schools, causing outrage in public opinion. The situation of adolescents using electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products is increasing, which is harmful to health, increasing the risk of non-communicable diseases, mental disorders, impaired brain maturation, negatively affecting the health and development of adolescents. The situation of children and minors violating the law in 2023 has increased dramatically and tends to become more complicated.
