On the morning of October 14, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, chaired a conference to collect opinions on the Draft Law on Teaching Staff at the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The Law on Teachers project consists of 9 chapters and 45 articles, specifically building 5 policies including: Identification of teachers, standards and titles of teachers, recruitment, use and working regime of teachers; training, fostering, treatment and honoring teachers, state management of teachers. The Law on Teachers is expected to overcome limitations and inadequacies arising in practice when applying regimes and policies for teachers, at the same time creating a breakthrough in policies on treatment, honoring teachers, and developing the teaching staff.

Contributing opinions to the Draft Law, delegates participated in many issues related to the subjects of application; the regime for teachers in each specific locality, including special regimes for teachers in remote, border and island areas; the need to clarify and unify regulations on teacher recruitment, teacher classification and evaluation; regulations on the arrangement and organization of school staff to ensure fairness among teachers; mechanisms and policies to encourage and promote the development of non-public education.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Thu Ha acknowledged and highly appreciated the practical, responsible, and practical contributions of the delegates to the Draft Law. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will synthesize and study them to propose to the National Assembly at the next session.
