The launching ceremony of the Sun Urban City project - "Living a brilliant life" took place on August 24 at the Ha Nam Provincial Gymnasium, offering 3,000 guests a spectacular art performance and information shared for the first time about the "suburban resort city with 1,001 amenities in the south of Hanoi".
Ha Nam - hidden heritage
Throughout the event, there were performances imbued with local culture, with a heroic drum dance resounding with the image of the Bronze Drum, reminiscent of the national treasure Ngoc Lu Bronze Drum and Doi Tam drum village - one of the long-standing craft villages of Ha Nam.
Dancers in traditional costumes appeared, transforming with silk ribbons and props made from bamboo and rattan, reminiscent of Nha Xa silk village and Ngoc Dong bamboo and rattan weaving village. Each performance was dotted with familiar images of craft villages and famous cultural works of Ha Nam, bringing pride to the land of culture. At the same time, the appearance of Divo Tung Duong stirred up the atmosphere of Ha Nam Stadium with songs evoking love for the homeland and country.
The art performances, the space arrangement as well as the investor's sharing all exuded the message: The "Doi mountain Chau river" area - the center of the Red River Delta with nearly 2,000 unique historical and cultural relics like that is holding countless potentials to develop strongly when "activated".
In fact, this locality is always in the top 10-15 in attracting investment capital. In the first 6 months of the year, GRDP growth also led the Red River Delta region and ranked 4th in the country. That shows that Ha Nam is on the right track and gradually becoming an important economic center of the North.

Along with the completion of traffic infrastructure, Ha Nam's development space has been expanded, no longer confined to the old Phu Ly center or some famous tourist spots such as Tam Chuc, but is forming large urban areas located in places with convenient traffic connections. A typical example is the Bac Chau Giang area, where the province has invested in a synchronous internal-external traffic system.
Accordingly, this area is planned to be the future administrative center of Ha Nam province. The spacious Dien Bien Phu, Le Cong Thanh, Nguyen Van Linh or Vo Nguyen Giap routes easily connect Bac Chau Giang with the old Phu Ly center. At the same time, this is the gateway of Ha Nam connecting with Hanoi and the provinces of the Red River Delta via National Highway 1A, Phap Van-Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway, the southern axis of Hanoi or future expressways connecting Ha Nam with Nam Dinh, Thai Binh...
In particular, the Phap Van (Hanoi) - Phu Thu (Ha Nam) expressway section with 6 lanes has just been proposed to be upgraded to 10-12 lanes, helping to significantly increase traffic flow from Hanoi to Phu Ly, Ha Nam and vice versa. The Phu Thu 3-level expressway interchange adjacent to Bac Chau Giang is expected to be completed in 2025, connecting the North-South expressway with the Capital Region's Ring Road 5, resonating with Ring Roads 3, 3.5, 4 to complete the inter-regional traffic system, welcoming the flow of vehicles from Hanoi and the northern provinces to Phu Ly, Ha Nam.
Not to mention the North-South high-speed railway projects and the second airport in the capital region that will be implemented in the near future, which will certainly open up opportunities for the development of urban and real estate projects to meet the needs of resorts, long-term residence or second-home investment in this area.
Suburban city full of potential
At the event, Sun Group representatives shared the inevitable development trend of suburban urban areas. Especially in Ha Nam, places with modern and synchronous infrastructure connections will form suburban resort urban areas with superior living environments, full amenities, improved quality of life and be the driving force for local economic development on the journey to becoming a centrally-governed city by 2050.
