Bac Kan meets to discuss progress of organizing Culture

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported in detail on the progress of the implementation of planned activities. Regarding the contents of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the province has issued full directive documents, established an Organizing Committee, and assigned specific tasks to relevant units. Propaganda and visual agitation work has been deployed since the beginning of April and is continuing to be strengthened.

The Department is coordinating to complete the script for the meeting program, the list of delegates, speeches, the welcoming art program, reports and the plan to welcome delegates. Contents such as the incense offering ceremony, visiting meritorious people, and giving gifts to policy families are being implemented by the departments and branches on schedule.

Regarding the Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week 2025, the event attracts the participation of the provinces of the Cau River basin including: Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Hanoi (Bac Ninh province does not participate due to overlapping events). Typical activities such as: Opening ceremony on the Cau River floating stage, performance of typical intangible cultural heritage of ethnic groups in the Cau River basin, "Beautiful photos of tourism in the Cau River basin", regional specialty fair, tourism investment promotion seminar, sports competitions... are jointly prepared.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed the Provincial People's Committee to consider a number of contents such as: Assigning the Provincial Veterans Association to prepare a speech on historical witnesses in the celebration; awarding Certificates of Merit to units participating in the Culture - Tourism Week; approving the invitation layout, list of delegates; agreeing on the selection of MC options to host the program...

Representatives of departments, branches, sectors and localities discussed and clarified local tasks and activities in the series of common activities of the province.
