National Assembly Delegate of Ben Tre province presented a symbolic board to support house building for disadvantaged households in the localities.
At the meeting, voters watched a report on the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Ben Tre province since the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly until now and the expected program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Nguyen Truc Son spoke at the meeting with voters.
Voters in the communes have raised a number of opinions, many of which are interested and agree with, supporting the policy of arranging and merging administrative units towards the development of localities. However, there needs to be solutions to facilitate people in traveling and carrying out administrative procedures, while at the same time, improving the capacity of grassroots officials; strengthening state management of advertising activities, especially food products that do not meet quality standards and affect consumers' health; supervising fair activities, ensuring that they are organized in accordance with regulations; needing solutions to prevent flooding and high tides in many areas in the area; needing to continue to orient the effective exploitation of coconut trees...
Speaking at the meeting with voters, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Nguyen Truc Son informed: The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is a very special session, this session will also have the longest meeting time ever (expected to last nearly 2 months, from May 5 to the end of June 2025), there are 3 draft laws covering all fields that will be discussed and approved by the National Assembly, along with 6 draft laws that continue to be commented on and important issues of the country...
In accordance with the Central Government's policy on streamlining the apparatus, the province has completed the first step, phase 1, in the arrangement of administrative units of provincial departments and branches, district-level units, and equivalent units, and also carried out the work of streamlining a number of departments and units. Currently entering phase 2, building a 2-level government: provincial and grassroots levels, ending the role of the district level; and following the Central Government's direction, Ben Tre province will merge with a number of other provinces. The goal of the merger is to create a larger, more effective, efficient, and productive development space; for better overall development, closer to the people, and better service.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi and local representatives also received and clarified the opinions of voters.
On this occasion, the National Assembly Delegation of Ben Tre province mobilized Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited to donate 2 houses of gratitude (total value of 140 million VND) and Agribank Ben Tre Branch to donate 2 houses of love (total value of 120 million VND) to policy households and poor households in the communes of Phuoc Hiep, Minh Duc, Binh Khanh and An Dinh.
