Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh stated that in the context of the world being increasingly connected by globalization and technology, information and propaganda play an extremely important role in shaping social awareness, promoting mutual understanding between countries and strengthening trust between peoples.

Television is one of the most influential and sustainable mass media, not only playing a role in conveying information but also an important tool in preserving and promoting national cultural identity, strengthening people-to-people diplomacy, orienting public opinion and consolidating public trust.

Vietnam and China are two friendly neighboring countries, connected by mountains and rivers, with many cultural similarities. The good friendship and close brotherly affection between the people of Vietnam and China were painstakingly cultivated by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong. Today, under the leadership of General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, we have the responsibility to join hands to preserve and pass it on to future generations. In that context, television of the two countries plays a very important role in spreading and consolidating that precious traditional friendship.

"I believe that the cooperation between the two national television stations of Vietnam and China is not simply about coordinating content production, exchanging programs, sharing experiences and technology, but also about in-depth cultural diplomacy, contributing to diversifying perspectives, promoting national identity, cultural heritage and typical lifestyles of each country, contributing to enhancing understanding between the two peoples, as well as promoting cooperation in many fields," Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh expressed.
