Do Duy Manh, Quang Hai, Hoang Duc prepare to play Man Utd

Information from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) has selected 3 Vietnamese players to join the Southeast Asian All-Star Team, preparing for a friendly match with Manchester United Club (England) on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The three Vietnamese players include central defender Do Duy Manh (Hanoi FC), midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai (Hanoi FC) and Nguyen Hoang Duc (Phu Dong Ninh Binh FC). Among them, Quang Hai is a player in the typical squad of the ASEAN Cup 2024.

According to information from AFF, three Vietnamese players were selected based on their performance, professionalism and impressive competitive spirit in recent times.

Previously, AFF also selected Vietnam national team head coach Kim Sang Sik to be the captain of the Southeast Asian all-star team.

Sharing after taking on the task, Mr. Kim Sang Sik said: "It is a great honor to lead the best players from all ASEAN countries in a match of such importance.

We are not only representing our countries but showing the world the pride, spirit and strength of our region."

The AFF All-Stars Team is made up of the top players from the 12 member federations. The list will be officially announced soon, reflecting the diversity and collective strength of Southeast Asian football.
