Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital provides free dental care for children with cerebral palsy

Attending the program were Doctor CKII Vo Minh Thanh, Director of Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Head of the Association of Families of Children and People with Cerebral Palsy in Dak Lak province; representatives of doctors, sponsors and families with children with cerebral palsy in the province.

Doctors from Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and families with children with cerebral palsy participated in the program.

At the program, doctors from Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital examined, treated and provided free oral health care advice to 35 children with cerebral palsy, including: scaling, filling, tooth extraction, medication, etc. In addition, each child also received a gift from the program.

Speaking at the program, Doctor CKII Vo Minh Thanh, Director of Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, said that this is the third year that Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital has coordinated to organize the humanitarian program "Examination, treatment and consultation on dental care for children with cerebral palsy" in the province. This activity not only brings meaning in terms of medical care but also shares and supports families with children with cerebral palsy, giving more motivation to the family, helping the children improve their health in their journey to adulthood.

Along with the program “Examination, treatment and consultation on dental care for children with cerebral palsy”, every year, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital also organizes medical examination and treatment programs, provides free medicine in remote areas, border areas; coordinates with units to perform free surgery for children with cleft lip, cleft palate, etc. Thereby, contributing to sharing with difficult circumstances, showing concern, care and love for unfortunate fates in the community.
