Implementing Project 06 of the Government, Phu Yen District Police propagated and mobilized people to register to install the VneID electronic identification application and activate level 2 identified accounts in handling administrative procedures, contributing to completing the goal of national digital transformation.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Trung Nghia, Deputy Head of Phu Yen District Police, said: The electronic identification account can be understood as an "electronic document wallet", helping to manage citizen information and all personal documents in the online environment on the VneID application. Integrating all types of documents on the VNeID application, creating conditions for people to conduct transactions in the electronic environment with high reliability, accuracy, simplicity and time savings compared to the traditional way. Transactions and procedures registered by citizens are strictly managed, safe, avoiding forgery of personal documents.
To ensure the progress of installing and upgrading electronic identification accounts, the District Police stepped up coordination with agencies to check the number of cadres, civil servants, and workers who do not have VNeID accounts. Assigning officers and soldiers to directly go to communes, villages, and sub-regions to support people in completing and standardizing data and personal information. By mid-May, the whole district had over 20,000 people with electronic identification accounts, the rate of level 2 identification accounts accounted for over 40%.
Talking to us, Lieutenant Colonel Le Trung Nghia added: The unit has consulted with the District People's Committee to deploy authentication and issue electronic identification accounts in the area. At the same time, launch a 120-day emulation movement to implement Project 06. Direct the police of communes, towns, departments, and organizations to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people in the area to register for electronic identification accounts, striving to have over 22,000 activated VNeID accounts.
The district police are mobilizing the maximum force to participate in the task; establishing 2 teams, of which 1 fixed team works at the district police headquarters and 1 mobile team goes to each commune and town to deploy. Currently, the unit is paralleling the issuance of CCCDs and issuing electronic identification codes to people. During the process of issuing electronic identification, the unit requires checking the number of people who have not been issued CCCDs for the first time to combine the issuance. In addition, when people come to create electronic identification accounts, the police force integrates a number of documents, such as: Health insurance cards, driver's licenses, vehicle registration papers... into the CCCD card. Thus, helping people carry out administrative transactions, minimizing the number of documents they have to carry.
Lieutenant Ha Tien Dung, Administrative Management Police Team - Phu Yen District Police, said: During the implementation process, some citizens lost their personal documents and could not complete them. Furthermore, some citizens in remote areas or the elderly do not have their own personal phone numbers, so the integration for citizens is difficult.
One of the ways that Phu Yen District Police are implementing to increase the number of activated VNeID accounts is to request village and sub-region Party cells to require Party members of the cell and incumbent Party members at their place of residence to set an example first. Self-managed inter-family groups propagate and mobilize people to check and prepare personal documents, directly coordinate with commune and town police to review and clean up population data. At the same time, notify each household, send messages on Zalo groups, notify each individual...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh On, Ward 7, Phu Yen Town, shared: I see that VNeID accounts have many benefits. First of all, it helps each citizen not to have to carry too many documents when registering for administrative procedures like before. No need to worry about keeping personal documents anymore. I have mobilized relatives and neighbors to quickly go to the police station to get instructions on activating electronic identification accounts.
With the spirit of "Serving the people", up to now, Phu Yen District Police have issued over 97,000 citizen identification cards and issued over 20,000 electronic identification accounts. The unit is continuing to promote and help people raise awareness of the benefits of issuing electronic identification accounts when transacting on the public service portal, thereby actively responding and contributing to building a digital government and digital citizens... Striving by June 20, the entire district will issue over 22,000 electronic identification codes to citizens.
