Over the years, Captain Phung Thanh Viet, a weapons officer, Military Command of Thu Thua district, Long An province, has continuously studied, trained, cultivated moral qualities, a clean lifestyle, promoted the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers , actively advised, deployed, and effectively carried out the assigned fields.

Therefore, I always consider this an important lesson to apply in practice in my professional work to perform well all assigned tasks”.

In addition to performing his professional duties well, Captain Phung Thanh Viet is also enthusiastic about working and producing.

As a weapons officer, he always completed his staff work well, proposing to the Logistics - Technical Department to carry out military - defense tasks such as technical work, well meeting the training tasks, live ammunition shooting as well as combat readiness of the unit; well preserving weapons and equipment, durable, safe, economical, absolutely not letting weapons and equipment be damaged or degraded.

At the same time, he regularly maintains fire prevention and fighting equipment (PCCC), fire extinguishers according to regulations; maintains and preserves PCCC equipment to meet the requirements of combat readiness as well as PCCC tasks of the unit.

He has many initiatives and advises the Logistics - Technical Department on increasing production to improve meals for the unit. Specifically, he advises on strengthening production, ensuring green vegetables, pork, wild boar, fish, etc. are served in the kitchen at 7,000 VND/person/day; implementing good epidemic prevention and hygiene regimes, taking good care of the health of officers and soldiers during training and recruitment, ensuring that 99% of the army is healthy.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Nhan - Political Commissar, Thu Thua District Military Command, commented: "Captain Phung Thanh Viet is always active and proactive in his work, has a high sense of responsibility, and is not afraid of difficulties or hardships. With a spirit of enthusiastic, scientific and effective work, Captain Phung Thanh Viet achieved the title of Party member who has excellently completed his tasks for 5 consecutive years, period 2020-2024; Emulation Fighter, Advanced Fighter and received many certificates of merit and certificates of merit in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style and professional tasks.

In 2024 alone, he was awarded a certificate of merit by the People's Committee of Thu Thua district for his good achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period 2021-2024./.
